That is in the advertisement notice at the foot of every page, and here it is again in plain words: this is a buying guide written by a manufacturer.

Why a manufacturer writes a buying guide

Type "buy aroma diffuser" into a search box and you land on retail pages where twenty ultrasonic machines sit side by side with nobody explaining the difference, and on lists with no coverage in square metres, no decibels and no running cost. We sell a machine that works without water, and most of the questions that reach our support desk are not about our product at all. They are about the choice in front of it: water or no water, how many square metres, how loud, what it costs a month. Those are the questions we answer here, with the figures attached, including where the figures do not flatter us.

The scenes on the guide are written to be recognisable, not as a report of a test rig. Anything we cannot back with a source, we do not write down as a fact.

How our pick is arrived at

We look at five things: water or no water, stated coverage in m², stated noise in dB, scent cost per month, and the controls, meaning timer, schedule and app. Every value comes from a source you can check yourself: the manufacturer's specification table, the product page at the named retailer, or a public review platform, each with a date. The British catch, stated plainly

On 9 September 2026 the Scentech checkout would not offer a delivery option for a British address. We have left that in the guide rather than quietly dropping it, because a buying guide that sends you to a shop which cannot take your order is worth nothing. Prices in pounds on this site are the shop's own conversion from euros on that same date, so they move with the exchange rate.
